Bubba Stories: No8

Over a hot cup of moss tea, Raphinii described life alone in the wilderness. In the background Bubba hears a soft cracking sound…

“Yeah, I get pretty lonely from time ta’ time,” Raphinii said, “But I have my little birds. Though, I think they’re the ones taking care a’ me! Kah-kah-kah-kah! Look sugar!” Pointing behind her at the bird’s nest. “Soon I’ll finally have babies of my own, look at all my chicks waiting ta’ be hatched!”
“Uhm, is that a bird hatching right there?” Bubba points.
“Oh my holy goats! I’ve never seen something so beautiful!”
Without hesitation, Raphinii cries, “Oh you must give me your child Mama Bird!”
“Squaaaaack!!!” Mother Bird replied (translation: “NO! You whack ass lady!”)
Raphinii walked away and muttered “A creature so beautiful needs the utmost love...”

Bubba was overwhelmed. He sat quietly, sipping on his now-sour moss tea.
