Bubba Stories: No13

Bubba spent the next few days pondering the time he’s had in the Only World. He began to take greater interest in the different personalities around him. The world outside of home was so interesting. Having witnessed good times and bad times life seemed more colorful. So enamored, Bubba nearly forgets the reason he came to the Only World…Until he came about a familiar necklace.

“Could I take a look at that necklace of yours?” Bubba asked.
“Nah. This mine.” the broccoli man replied.
Then his girlfriend, a cauliflower woman, chimed in, “Honey could I see that piece a’ yours?”
“’Course babe.”
She handed the necklace to Bubba. “You can keep it, sugar. This necklace, I mean it’s hideous.. and it’s ruining my look today. Run while I hold him back.”

The broccoli man noticed started steaming. Bubba ran. The necklace was surprisingly light.
